Our project focuses on breaking down barriers and creating inclusive musical experiences for the Deaf community. Through research, innovative learning models, and hands-on activities, we explore new ways for deaf individuals to engage with music beyond sound. Our initiatives range from identifying challenges and developing educational strategies to testing inclusive approaches and providing guidelines for music accessibility.

DEAF AND MUSIC: CHALLENGES AND OBSTACLES
It is a document presenting challenges and obstacles preventing deaf people to appreciate and “feel” music. The information included in this document is based on a double survey conducted among Deaf community and music industry professionals.
Partners design the non-formal and inclusive learning model addressed to deaf adults to help them learn about music through other sensory pathways. The learning model content is assessed by educators, trainers and music professionals in order to customize it to the national context of the partner countries.
